Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Buying Programs

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Buying Programs for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. This is a hybrid role.

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior product manager who enjoys solving problems, collaborates easily, and embodies core values (Genuine, Exceptional, Innovative, Involved). As a member of the Buying Programs organization, you will work in close partnership with multiple teams to scope, prioritize, and drive projects that are top-of-mind for the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on timely delivery of value from Concept Acceptance through to Release to Production.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, work independently, and drive initiatives by translating long-term strategies into specific solutions.
  • Use Jira, wiki, and other organizational tools to lead project status and working meetings, evaluate risks and issues, and overall solution delivery.
  • Perform new project request analysis and communicate effectively with different levels in the organization.
  • Support sales, marketing, and operation teams on existing licensing programs.
Requirements:
  • Years of full-time relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects.
  • Demonstrates understanding of our customers' needs, how sales teams work, and can effectively adapt with an evolving business.
  • Ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view; problem solver who can determine the best way to tackle the issues at hand while planning for the future.
