- Support Administrators-On-Duty (AOD): Provide project support, reports, data collection, and general requests as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Vacation and Sick Time Coverage: Assist in covering vacation and sick time for other staffing coordinators to ensure continuity of service.
- Clinical Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with Managers/AODs to coordinate clinical staffing throughout the medical center.
- Message Relay and Data Input: Relay messages, triage calls, and input data into the computer system to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Administrative Support: Perform a variety of routine administrative/office duties, including typing, filing, receptionist, opening and distributing mail, copying documents, etc.
- Experience: 3 years in healthcare, with staffing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of AB 394: Working knowledge of California staffing ratios.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks and projects.
- Previous Hospital Administration Experience: Previous hospital administration experience preferred, with at least 3 years or equivalent experience.
- Language Skills: Full command of the English language (written and verbal).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer AA or Bachelor's Degree.
The physical ability and perceptive acuity to meet the demanding work needs that are required to perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Physical ability for keyboarding for 90% of the shift.
