Key Responsibilities of a Patient Services Representative:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through various stages of their treatment journey.
- Welcome patients and accurately register them into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system following established protocols.
- Facilitate the ordering of Sleep Study devices using the appropriate systems.
- Upload sleep study results into the designated system.
- Review upcoming clinic schedules to ensure all necessary insurance and patient documentation is complete.
- Coordinate patient appointments effectively.
- Provide overflow support by answering calls in the call center as needed.
- Manage the opening and closing procedures of the clinic according to established guidelines.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and that patient payments are processed according to insurance requirements, collaborating with clinic team members to maintain the daily schedule.
- Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as required, adhering to established protocols.
- Cross-train as a Medical Assistant to enhance team support.
- Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Proven capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Experience or interest in roles accountable for quality performance metrics.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Proficient in technology, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proactive problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work three days a week.
