Key Responsibilities of a Patient Services Representative:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their treatment experience.
  • Welcome patients and ensure accurate check-in using established electronic health record protocols.
  • Facilitate the ordering of Sleep Study devices through our system.
  • Upload and manage sleep study reports within our database.
  • Review upcoming clinic schedules to verify insurance coverage and necessary patient documentation.
  • Coordinate patient appointments effectively.
  • Handle call center inquiries to provide additional support as needed.
  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the clinic according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and that patient payments are processed in accordance with insurance policies.
  • Order medical supplies and medications as required, following established protocols.
  • Participate in cross-training as a Medical Assistant.
Qualifications for the Patient Services Representative Role:
  • Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and independently.
  • Proven capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience or interest in working within a performance-driven role.
  • Strong focus on customer service excellence.
  • Proficient in technology, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proactive problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork, and a positive attitude.
  • Availability to work three days a week.
