About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Agent to join our team at Jobot. As a Commissioning Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion and functionality of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Planning: Develop commissioning plans and strategies tailored to each project, considering the unique requirements and goals of the client.
  • Design Review: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to review and provide input on design documents to ensure they align with commissioning objectives.
  • Equipment and System Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing and verification of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems, to ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Deficiency Identification: Identify and document any deficiencies or issues during the commissioning process, and work closely with project teams to rectify them promptly.
  • Performance Verification: Ensure that the building's systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and project progress.
  • Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on commissioning progress, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with the project's performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance protocols to guarantee that the project is delivered according to specifications and within established timelines.
  • Energy Efficiency: Promote and implement energy-efficient and sustainable building practices to optimize long-term operational performance.
  • Training and Handover: Provide training to building operators and maintenance personnel to ensure they can effectively manage and maintain the systems post-commissioning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Professional certification in commissioning (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional, Certified Building Commissioning Professional).
  • Previous experience in building commissioning, preferably with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
