We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, providing excellent customer service to employees, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll bi-weekly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing compensation, taxes, time-off requests, and benefit changes
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
- Perform daily payroll operations, including data entry and time and attendance processing
- Execute commission reports and employment verifications as needed
- Oversee Personnel Action Form submissions and process manual checks
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, payroll best practices, and ADP software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
