About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Forrest Machining Inc. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality components and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble components and products, adhering to quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Inspect components and finished assemblies for accuracy and quality, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Align components and adjust clearances to ensure proper fit, utilizing measuring equipment and gauges as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking and reporting on component usage and production levels.
  • Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly issues, communicating with colleagues and supervisors as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as an Assembler, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a strong physical stamina and endurance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
