Job Title: Procurement Manager

Join N B Ventures as a Procurement Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strategic thinking and leadership skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing global strategies for strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client engagements and contribute to the development and execution of global strategies for strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation.
  • Creatively utilize data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses.
  • Develop sound recommendations to contribute to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, transformation, etc.).
  • Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with clients; coach team members.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the Program Manager in efforts to expand the scope of current projects by leveraging existing relationships with C-level executives and contributing to business development efforts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of experience in a consulting firm or a combination of consultancy and industry experience with strategic sourcing, spend analysis, and Source to Pay/Procure to Pay processes.
  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and outstanding client management skills.
  • Strong experience in supplier development, category management, and RFx development and execution; exposure to relevant technology platforms like SAP/Ariba, Coupa, Zycus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX, etc., a plus.
