Job Overview

Cesna is seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for purchasing items, materials, or services of a technical nature, customized to company specifications and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase and expedite for timely delivery of material parts and services as required.
  • Select vendors, which may include visiting facilities, and confer with other departments for technical assistance in resolving purchasing issues.
  • Evaluate invoice charges and coordinate purchasing-related activities involving routing, shipping, and receiving of parts and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records, including encumbrance and company-owned tooling stored or used by vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent education.
  • Proficient/Advanced skills with MS Excel and ERP (SAP).
  • 13 years' experience as a buyer for a manufacturing company.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and problem-solve independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
