Job Summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks a seasoned Nursing Project Director to lead the Nursing division and oversee system-wide clinical and non-clinical projects. This includes technology and information systems rollouts, as well as process design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project tasks, timelines, and plans, communicating status to senior leadership, directors, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Work within and outside the organization to overcome barriers and develop solutions.
  • Lead project teams through the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously to achieve outcomes within prescribed timeframes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, science, or healthcare administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience, including experience leading and managing others.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Technology, or Financial Services, with a proven track record in project management and implementation.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Effective communication and management skills to guide direct reports and influence stakeholders.
Required License and Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License.
