Job Title: Project Manager

At Ceres Environmental Operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our disaster recovery projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide management oversight for all phases of the project, including coordination of workers, equipment, and resources.
  • Supervise first-line managers, review their reports, and address any reported difficulties or deficiencies.
  • Track and control schedule and associated costs to achieve project completion within the set time schedule.
  • Establish and maintain quality relationships with cities, counties, and other stakeholders.
  • Determine labor requirements and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient dispatch of workers to appropriate sites.
  • Attend relevant conferences and meetings.
  • Oversee preparation, review, and approval of contractual proposals related to emergency response services.
  • Supervise assigned staff and perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in project management or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with various audiences.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to present information clearly, precisely, and authoritatively.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
Work Environment:

The employee will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
