About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Short Stay Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. This is a full-time, 1 FTE evening shift position that offers a $6,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for external caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical unit environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
