About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Short Stay Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical unit environment.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, report changes, and take appropriate action.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
