Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, and grooming
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including feeding, transferring, and repositioning
  • Assist with basic health care needs, such as obtaining vital signs and providing psychosocial support
  • Document client care and communicate changes in client condition to licensed nurses
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to develop skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities
