About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and filing sales and use tax returns using Avalara tax software.
  • Reviewing, processing, and reconciling employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Tracking prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and recording monthly depreciation/amortization.
  • Facilitating collaborative post-project reviews for CapEx projects.
  • Assisting with month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual external audit.
  • Ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.
  • Administering the corporate credit card program.
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice entry and pay runs.
  • Issuing tax reporting for distributions (e.g., 1099s).
  • Performing other backup duties and special projects as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Corporate Accounting/Audit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
