We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring grant activities related to a project focused on substance use and addiction-related needs of diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, including proposal preparation and report submission.
- Coordinate with program evaluators to collect and analyze data for program evaluation and reporting.
- Work with program directors and evaluators to analyze project outcomes and strategize for improvement.
- Arrange logistics for meetings, workshops, and events, and make travel arrangements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with university and state grant requirements, including data collection and Institutional Review Board (IRB) proposals.
- Coordinate strategic planning for project execution, including planning for focus groups, program development, budget, and evaluation.
- Master's degree in Public Health or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in academic program management, grant proposal writing, and grant administration.
- Prior experience with qualitative analysis methods and data management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with university faculty, staff, and students.
- Experience working with community-based organizations and community members.
- High degree of initiative, self-direction, and resourcefulness.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in standard office software systems, including Microsoft Office and qualitative data analysis software.
