POSITION SUMMARY


As a Facility Maintenance Attendant, you will execute scheduled preventative upkeep in guest accommodations, meeting spaces, and public areas as necessary. Responsibilities include inspecting and flipping mattresses, vacuuming behind and beneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, dusting surfaces, performing touch-up painting, and ensuring all essential hardware and appliances are functional. You will also replace light fixtures and inspect and repair grout and caulking.

Maintain and clean all guest rooms in alignment with the property's maintenance procedures and standards. Conduct minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes. Perform comprehensive cleaning of all guestroom surfaces, including tubs, wall tiles, hard floors, walls, windows, and mirrors. Promptly report any significant maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the supervisor.


Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and complete safety training and certifications.

Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring that your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Engage in physical activities such as reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Assist with moving and handling objects exceeding 50 pounds. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
Less than 1-year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience.

License or Certification:
None
