Position Overview
The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional beverage and food service to guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers prompt and courteous service to patrons at the bar, accurately processing food and drink orders through a POS system.
- Continuously assesses guest needs, ensuring the quality and precision of served orders.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, particularly mixed drinks, and provides recommendations to guests.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of bar areas and service stations.
- Assists in managing inventory and the organization of the liquor storage area.
- Safeguards company assets and accurately balances assigned cash registers.
- Communicates guest feedback, concerns, or suggestions to management to enhance service quality.
- Completes assigned side duties to ensure that stations are well-stocked for subsequent shifts.
- Exhibits outstanding guest service through a positive attitude in interactions with guests and team members.
- Adheres to all regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Follows health and hygiene policies set forth by the food and beverage department.
- Performs additional tasks as directed by management.
Team Members may encounter secondhand tobacco smoke and moderate noise levels, which can occasionally escalate during peak times.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Frequent carrying, reaching, twisting, bending, and squatting.
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Exceptional guest service is vital to the success of Three Rivers Casino & Hotel. Each team member is expected to embody our service commitments in every interaction, beginning with the principle of kindness.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a fast-paced bartending environment or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Must obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Compliance with pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the department.
$14.70 per hour, depending on experience.
