Recreation Leader - Kiddy Korner Job Description

Job Summary:

The Town of Gilbert is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Leader to join our team at Kiddy Korner. As a Recreation Leader, you will be responsible for facilitating a range of activities, crafts, and games for children aged 18 months to 7 years in a safe and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement recreational programs for children aged 18 months to 7 years
  • Supervise and engage with children during program activities
  • Ensure participant safety and well-being at all times
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Collaborate with the Recreation Coordinator to plan and implement program activities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children in a recreational setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
