Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Recreation Leader to join our team at the Town of Gilbert. As a Recreation Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading recreation programs, and maintaining the safety and security of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and the general public
  • Lead and monitor recreation programs, including supervising facility patrons and enforcing safety and program policies and procedures
  • Maintain the safety and security of facilities, including cleaning and securing buildings, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist with the implementation of recreation programs, including providing guidance to program participants and ensuring participant safety

Requirements:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience working with children and families
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
