Job Title: Network Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team at True North Consultants. As a Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security infrastructure to protect our organization's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and secure applications in Cloudflare Web Application Firewall
- Configure and maintain F5 Active Security Management and Advanced Firewall Management platform
- Contribute to the enhancement of Palo Alto Next Gen firewalls and migration off of Checkpoint firewalls
- Participate in design/review sessions with other teams to maintain network security policies
- Implement monitoring policies, procedures, and standards relating to network availability and security
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies
- Proficiency in network infrastructure design, implementation, and support
- Experience with network monitoring and security tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
