Job Summary:

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. As a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment, including PET/CT scans and MIC CT scans
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and develop treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification or CNMT certification
  • PET/CT certification or MIC CT cross-trainer certification
  • 2+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
