Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift team at ITW. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, managing a team of direct reports, and driving results-oriented performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Effectively lead and manage the performance and development of a team of direct reports, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, complete annual performance evaluations, lead new hire onboarding training initiatives, and monitor and manage employee schedules and attendance.
  • Corrective Action: Lead and/or support corrective action processes, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Safety Initiatives: Lead and/or support safety initiatives, emergency response, and other safety activities as required, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Communication: Communicate with the production control, customer service, and management team regarding high-priority tasks, as well as communicate shift performance and current issues to be addressed.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that employees have the resources needed to perform their jobs successfully.
Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum of High School Education
  • Experience: Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Skills: Strong leadership characteristics, self-motivated, takes initiative to continuously learn, thrives on the success of others and the team, adapts quickly to new situations and circumstances, and able to build strong relationships with others both internally and externally.
