Job Responsibilities and QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to ensure personalized and compassionate care, following established nursing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, promptly addressing any changes in status.
- Perform medical procedures and monitor patient responses as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation of care.
- Deliver outstanding patient care by responding to requests and anticipating needs.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years of hire. Exemptions may apply for experienced RNs.
- Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
