Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Professional or Paraprofessional to join our team at Hidden Roots Mental Health LLC. As a key member of our staff, you will provide direct support to clients in their natural settings, conducting weekly face-to-face sessions, managing treatment plan goals, and assisting clients in learning skills to effectively manage their mental health.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly face-to-face sessions with clients to support their mental health goals
  • Manage treatment plan goals and objectives
  • Assist clients in learning skills to effectively manage their mental health
  • Ensure chart compliance and complete daily documentation in a timely manner
  • Serve as a liaison for the organization and advocate for clients
Requirements
  • Currently registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult/Child (QMHP-A/C) by the Virginia Board of Counseling or completed a Qualified Mental Health Para-Professional Certification
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Knowledge of community-based mental health support services, casework documentation, therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and families, and community resources
  • Ability to interact with referral sources, utilize clinical supervision, and develop person-centered plans
  • Must complete CPR & First Aid and Behavioral Management techniques training
Compensation

$17-$25 per hour
