Nutrition Aide Job Description

The Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. is seeking a qualified Nutrition Aide to join our team at the Hamilton Early Head Start program.

Job Summary:

The Nutrition Aide will be responsible for providing nutrition support to the center, including meal preparation, food transportation, and record-keeping. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality nutrition services to our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to children and staff
  • Transport food to the Head Start Center
  • Maintain accurate records of nutrition services
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement nutrition education programs
  • Ensure compliance with Head Start nutrition guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Working Conditions:
