We are seeking a Maintenance Professional to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

About the Role:

This is a full-time 40 hour per week position that requires some overtime and on-call emergency duty. As a Maintenance Professional, you will perform general maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, logging and tracking helpdesk requests, meeting with vendors, replacing light tubes/bulbs, fixtures and electrical components, and moving of furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities
  2. Conduct repairs and replacements as needed
  3. Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues
  4. Maintain accurate records of work completed
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in building maintenance and/or construction
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems, construction materials, and general construction techniques
  • Basic computer skills, including email and time keeping
  • Familiarity with hand tools and common office equipment
  • A valid driver's license
Salary and Benefits:

The starting salary for this position is approximately $38,431 per year based on a 40 hour workweek and $19.15 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
