Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Materials Manager, procurement team, manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and operators to ensure seamless operations within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Manage both stocked and non-stocked orders in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Play a crucial role in achieving plant customer service and inventory objectives (Raw/WIP/Buffers/Bulk) through effective inventory management and materials planning for designated commodities, aligning with operational schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, optimizing terms and conditions to benefit the company.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain quality standards and on-time delivery.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in procurement.

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in procurement. You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Your ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is essential for success in this role.
