Job Title: Foreman

About the Role:

The Foreman position is a leadership role that involves strategic planning, documentation, and direct supervision of a crew working on all phases of projects. This role requires maintaining and improving efficiency and effectiveness in areas under their direction and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and ensure safety, scheduling, workforce planning, coordinating, supervising, and assisting with cost control.
  • Maintain consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Supervise construction effort to ensure projects are constructed according to design, budget, and schedule.
  • Assist project team in scheduling, developing, and implementing project work plans and procedures.
  • Provide on-site supervision of project and directly supervise and coordinate team members' activities.
  • Perform labor duties as required and identify potential hazards or safety concerns.
  • Understand and communicate safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety.
  • Evaluate employees' competency and capability and recognize issues among crew members.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience supervising construction projects.
  • 7+ years of hands-on construction experience and strong knowledge of industry standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a team environment.
