About the Job

Hills & Dales Child Development Center is seeking a Support Services Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $18.50-22.75 per hour, offering a unique opportunity to support individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients. As a Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing direct support services, including teaching daily living skills, behavior management, health support, and engagement activities.

Job Summary:

Provide support services to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, including teaching daily living skills, behavior management, health support, and engagement activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Daily Living Skills: Assist individuals in gaining independence in self-care and daily activities
  • Behavior Management: Reduce unwanted behaviors and teach alternatives using approved methods
  • Health Support: Maintain hygiene and grooming, provide first aid, and administer medications if certified
  • Documentation: Record support provided and compliance with health standards accurately
  • Engagement Activities: Actively involve individuals in age-appropriate activities and community outings

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated concern for others and alignment with the mission of Hills & Dales Child Development Center
  • Ability to assertively communicate and advocate for clients
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and valid insurance
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screen, and driving record check
