We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a RN Med Tele WEO Days nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, including those with cardiac conditions, stroke, COPD, and other complex medical needs.
About the UnitOur 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, including those who are critically ill and require close monitoring. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families, and we are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, stroke, COPD, and other complex medical needs.
- Monitor and analyze patient data, including ECGs, to identify potential complications and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
- Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN.
- Must have 1-year of nursing experience.
- Must hold a current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate RN license from a participating compact state required.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date.
