Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Med Tele WEO Days to join our team. As a telemetry nurse, you will assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyze heart rhythms, and intervene in emergency situations. You will work in a 36-bed cardiac telemetry unit with a wide variety of monitored patients, including chest pain, stroke, COPD, post-ops, GI, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients aged 16 and over, including young adults, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Acquire advanced knowledge in psychosocial, spiritual, pathophysiological, and therapeutic components specific to step-down care and cardiac monitoring.
  • Identify risks, hazards, and mitigation efforts of unsafe practices.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a school of nursing with a Diploma, ADN, or BSN.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate RN license from a participating compact state.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date.
