We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a Telemedicine Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients with acute changes, including those with chest pain, stroke, COPD, and other complex conditions.
- Interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergency situations, utilizing your critical thinking skills and vast clinical knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN, or BSN.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a participating compact state.
- BLS certification required upon hire, with ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date.
