Job Summary:

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is seeking an experienced Advanced Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. As a key member of our imaging team, you will work closely with the technical supervisor and medical director to provide high-quality routine and general diagnostic special procedures and interventional studies.

About the Job:

This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will be responsible for educating patients and families about procedures, providing pre- and post-procedure instructions, and efficiently documenting all procedures, patient-related events, and equipment issues.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a hospital setting, with experience in special procedures or equivalent. A strong understanding of Title 22, California Licensing & Certification of Health Facilities and Title 17, California Radiation Control Regulations, is essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $43.27-$66.53 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we also provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree from an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program;
  • A valid California State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License and Fluoroscopy License; and
  • AHA BLS certification.

Certifications:

While not required, certifications in Vascular Interventional Radiography (RTVI) or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (RTCV) are highly desirable. We encourage candidates with relevant experience to apply.
