We offer a competitive salary of $$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Overview

As a PET Imaging Technologist at RadNet, you will be responsible for operating PET scanners and related equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex tasks associated with PET scanner operation, adhering to radiation safety procedures and company protocols.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while prioritizing patient comfort and well-being.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining exam procedures and addressing their concerns.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing signs of discomfort or medical issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient property, including sensitive information.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification, along with State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Venipuncture certification/permit.
  • BLS certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
