Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at La Frontera Arizona, Inc. as a Behavioral Health Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medical services and support to our clients, including performing dispensary functions, conducting initial assessments, and participating in treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dispensary functions, including preparing and administering medications
  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients
  • Participate in treatment planning and development of treatment plans
  • Provide clinical outpatient and/or in-patient treatment, including crisis intervention
  • Assist physician in examinations, evaluations, and record keeping
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate information on client dosage, physical problems, and relevant behavior
Requirements
  • AZ LPN license
  • Knowledge of various treatment modalities
  • Skill in assessment procedures, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a member of a treatment team
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
