Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber II to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems that serve medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and general wellbeing of patients, students, and employees.
  • Resolve all problems and emergencies that arise from plumbing systems and associated equipment on the UAMS Campus.
  • Collaborate with other facilities maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of campus facilities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED plus five (5) years of plumbing experience.
  • Journeyman Plumber license in accordance with ACA.
  • Valid Driver's License with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle Record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 years of plumbing experience.
  • Master's plumbing license.
