Role Summary:


The Project Coordination Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting with the planning, directing, and coordination of electrical projects. This position is designed to ensure that project objectives are met within the designated timelines and budgetary constraints, under the supervision of a project manager or senior project manager.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, management, engineering, or a related discipline is required; alternatively, a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the electrical construction sector, or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.


Skills and Competencies:

The physical demands of this role are representative of those that must be fulfilled by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Employees may be required to travel in a vehicle for extended periods depending on job requirements. Working at external job sites may expose individuals to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and other environmental factors.

The role necessitates frequent use of hands for handling, controlling, or feeling objects, tools, or controls. Candidates must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the workday. Climbing, reaching above shoulder height, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required on a regular basis.

This position may occasionally involve lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and performing physically demanding tasks under challenging field conditions. Employees may face hazardous situations, high places, and/or equipment that requires adherence to safety protocols, including knowledge of safety data sheets.

For those in an office setting, the work environment will typically include standard room temperatures, fluorescent lighting, and the operation of conventional office equipment. Office personnel may need to sit at a desk for extended periods and may spend significant time in front of a computer screen.

Individuals in this role can expect to perform tasks that require reaching overhead, bending or stooping, and repetitive hand or wrist movements. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be necessary depending on specific job functions.
