We are seeking a skilled Dumpling Trainee to join our team at Din Tai Fung, a world-renowned Chinese restaurant specializing in steamed soup dumplings. As a Dumpling Trainee, you will be responsible for preparing, putting together, folding, and steaming dumplings for our guests.

About the Role:

You will operate in a show kitchen, upholding a tidy and professional look while working in a fast-paced team environment. Our hands-on dumpling training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepares, measures, and cuts dough
  • Rolls dumpling/bun skins
  • Stuffs, closes, and arranges dumplings/buns in a steamer
  • Adds meat and allergen identifiers
  • Steams dumplings/buns
  • Maintains a clean working space and dumpling room
  • Labels all items in accordance with regulations and procedures
