Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Organize and maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking and rotating products as needed
  • Reset products and maintain shelf conditions to ensure integrity of shelf tags and signage
  • Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness and quality of products
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation
  • Assist in merchandising the department to maximize sales and use suggestive selling techniques to increase sales
Requirements
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment
  • Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment used preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures
