We are searching for a dynamic individual to become the Behavioral Health Clinician I for the unit. This position is responsible for providing counseling services to individuals using a combination of therapeutic and recreational interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments, obtaining all relevant information, and placing individuals into appropriate levels of care.
  • Conduct group, family, and individual counseling sessions.
  • Administer assessments to evaluate patient's needs.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner according to CTP clinical procedures.
  • Regularly report patient progress to Supervisor.
  • Coordinate and refer to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling.

Requirements
  • Education: HS Diploma or BA with a CAS Certification.
  • Master's degree in sociology or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in the behavioral health field.
  • Previous experience with substance use treatment and expertise with trauma preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
