Speech Language Pathologist PRN Job Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care in our acute setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with their needs and physician direction.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Design functional treatment programs to enable effective return to community activities.
  • Provide education to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience (CFY - Clinical Fellowship Year).
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.
