Position Overview:

The Financial Services Controller will be responsible for the establishment and execution of internal controls pertaining to accounting and financial operations. This role encompasses overseeing all accounting activities, from invoicing to the preparation of financial statements, coordinating with external tax professionals for compliance and audits, and delivering accurate financial data to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust internal controls for accounting and financial processes.
  • Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, billing, financial statements, accounts receivable and payable, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with external tax professionals for income tax preparation and oversee audit processes.
  • Provide precise financial insights to senior management for effective performance evaluation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience; CPA certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of FINRA and SEC reporting being a plus.
