About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piano Instructor to join our Arts Conservatory team at French American International School. As a Piano Instructor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one instrumental lessons to students in grades 1-12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and challenging one-on-one lessons that cater to the learning styles of each student.
- Take attendance and submit hours worked.
- Communicate with the Director of Extended Care in the event of student or teacher absence.
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative and Performing Arts to address any musical needs.
- Prepare students to perform at least once per year in one of three scheduled conservatory concerts.
- Attend conservatory concerts to support students and liaise with parents.
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
