Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Piano Teacher at Scherzo Music School in San Mateo, CA. The Piano Teacher will be responsible for providing piano lessons using effective teaching methods, developing music education plans, and preparing students for performances and exams.
Qualifications
- Piano Playing and Piano Education skills
- Music Theory and Music Education knowledge
- Experience in teaching piano and a 2nd instrument is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Degree in Music Education or related field is a plus
