Job Summary

The University of Southern California seeks a highly skilled HRIS Analyst to join its team. As an HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for executing the development, maintenance, and operational aspects of Workday HCM system. This role requires a strong understanding of HR business processes and the ability to configure and enhance Workday HCM to meet the needs of the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and execute ongoing Workday configuration and enhancement needs for HR business processes.
  • Provide technical support for Workday projects, including testing for Workday systems updates and upgrades.
  • Work with functional users to provide technical support, research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with core HCM and other HR modules.
  • Partner with HR centers of expertise to build, enhance, and deliver Workday business processes to support self-service and the end-user experience.
  • Communicate and present recommended improvements and solutions to Workday business processes and decision-making rationale.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, industrial/organizational psychology, business administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in Workday HCM configuration, troubleshooting, user support, and/or operational tasks.
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in making decisions with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Functional and configuration knowledge of Workday HCM.
  • Experience conducting or facilitating requirement-gathering interviews or sessions.
  • Experience utilizing analytics tools to measure results of user-centered products, documenting success, presenting opportunities, and supporting decision-making.
  • Experience working with functional groups, utilizing time management and prioritization skills to make efficient, logical decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
