Job Summary

Vidant Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating clinic operations and assisting providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry, and medical records management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates clinic operations and assists providers with patient care services and customer services as necessary.
  • Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records.
  • Demonstrates skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history, and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians.
  • Possesses time management skills and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • One of the two certifications is required: Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • Preferred one or more years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position with benefits. The work schedule is day shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
