Job Summary
The District Technical Service Manager will provide field-based technical support for all Hayward pool products and dealers. This includes collaborating with District Sales Managers to develop and implement local, market-specific strategies for aftermarket support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local, market-specific strategies for aftermarket support in collaboration with District Sales Managers.
- Build, train, manage, and maintain a local network of service providers to perform repairs on Hayward products.
- Serve as the local resource for decision-making, problem-solving, and escalation.
- Serve as a corporate resource for product testing, product feedback, and market research.
Key Performance Indicators
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a strong network of service providers to ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to dealers and customers.
- Conduct regular business reviews with District Sales Managers to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; 4-year degree or equivalent experience in the pool industry preferred.
- 5+ years of technical experience in the pool industry, preferably in a field-management role.
- Strong knowledge of swimming pool products, their application, use, and care.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
This position requires frequent travel throughout the Gulf Coast Region with the potential for overnight stays. The successful candidate must currently reside in a centrally located area within commuting distance of this region.
