Position Overview:
The Member Experience Manager (MXM) plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment for all members to achieve their health goals. This position is designed to cultivate club growth within a dynamic and enjoyable setting where no two days are alike.
Key Responsibilities:
The MXM is tasked with overseeing the entire club operations, which includes:
- Managing the Member Onboarding Process, which involves engaging with potential members, providing tours, selling coaching packages, and conducting fitness consultations.
- Ensuring a positive customer experience through meaningful interactions throughout a member's journey.
- Following up on sales leads and developing a pipeline of prospective members.
- Delivering pre-designed workouts to groups and creating personalized fitness plans for individual members.
- Motivating and energizing members during sessions to enhance their fitness experience.
- Conducting fitness evaluations and consultations for new members and training clients.
- Promoting personal training packages and ensuring participant safety through proper exercise techniques.
- Maintaining accurate records of personal training clients and their progress.
- Engaging with the community through events and networking to promote the club.
- Providing exceptional service to all members and addressing any concerns that arise.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Current CPR, AED, and personal training certifications, along with a nationally recognized certification such as NASM or ACE.
- Experience in personal training within a fitness facility or private training environment.
- A background in sales within the fitness industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a successful team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect and motivate members.
- A commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
