Explosive Operations Specialist

Groome Industrial Service Group is a leading provider of specialty maintenance services nationwide. We are seeking a dedicated Explosive Operations Specialist to join our team and travel from our office in Show Low, AZ to respond to service calls at power generation plants throughout the region.
This role involves training to de-slag large utility boilers using explosives. As an Explosive Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to become licensed explosives blasters through our programs.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
- No felony or family violence convictions.
- No DWI convictions in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift 90 pounds.
- High School Diploma / GED Required.
- Reliable transportation required, and must live within an hour of our office.
- Willingness to be on call 24/7.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Ability to work outside in challenging conditions.
- Capability to climb ladders and scale multiple flights of stairs.
- No prior experience necessary.
Compensation:
- Advancement opportunities available after completion of a 90-day probationary period.
